Dirty Grandpa (January 22) – A former Army general tricks his uptight grandson into driving him all across the country for spring break, just before he’s supposed to get married. This buddy comedy stars none other than Zac Efron and Robert De Niro and was directed by one of the Borat co-writers. With all this star power behind it, we bet this movie is going to do good.

Hail, Caesar! (February 5) – Forget about the winter — this is going to be one of the most exciting movies in 2016, period. This comedy/drama is set in 1950s and directed by the Coen brothers. Not only that, but the film features actors like George Clooney, Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Josh Brolin and Jonah Hill!

Deadpool (February 12) – This movie has been a long time coming. The idea existed since the early 2000s, and there have been rumors that Ryan Reynolds will star in it since 2004. Finally, more than a decade later we’ll get a chance to see it in the cinema. Let’s just hope it’s better than Reynolds’ Green Lantern flick.

Zoolander No. 2 (February 12) – Fifteen years after the first movie, Ben Stiller is making a comeback as Derek Zoolander. Of course, the movie also features other big stars like Owen Wilson, Will Farrell and Penelope Cruz, as well as cameos from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and more!

The Witch (February 19) – According to people who’ve seen it at last year’s Sundance, this is the most chilling horror flick to come out in years. It centers around a 17th century New England family that is torn apart by the forces of black magic and witchcraft.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny (February 26) – Sixteen years after Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon snagged 10 Oscar nominations and made a lot of money, we get to see the sequel. What’s interesting is the fact that you’ll be able too see it is simultaneously in theaters and on Netflix!

Knight of Cups (March 4) – This may be one of the most exciting romantic dramas coming out in 2016. It stars Christian Bale, Natalie Portman, Antonio Banderas, and Cate Blanchett. The movie centers on an LA writer played by Bale, as he wades through Hollywood’s hedonism.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (March 4) – The people behind this film know how to make a good comedy. The movie’s script was written by 30 Rock maestro Robert Carlock, it was produced by SNL producer Lorne Michaels, and it stars the likes of Tina Fey, Billy Bob Thornton and Martin Freeman. The film probably won’t win any big awards, but we expect it to be really funny.

The Lobster (March 11) – This dark comedy may not be for everyone, but you should definitely give it a shot. It was shown at last year’s New York Film Festival and most of the critics loved it. The film is set in a dystopian near future where single persons are sent to The Hotel, where anyone who can’t find a romantic partner after 45 days is transformed into an animal.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (March 25) – OK, we’re cheating a bit with this one, since it’s actually going to be available in early spring, but hey – you have to make an exception for a movie that features both Batman and Superman. March 25 can’t come soon enough.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 (March 25) – We have to make another exception for the sequel of 2002’s My Big Fat Greek Wedding. In case you forgot, that film was a box office miracle. It made about $370 million on a $5 million budget. Let’s see if the sequel can do just as well.
